WIHA is dedicated to ensuring access to safe and clean water for underserved communities worldwide through the implementation of sustainable water projects.

WIHA
Welcome to WIHA. We are a volunteer-driven nonprofit committed to addressing the global water crisis by expanding access to safe, clean drinking water in underserved communities.
Founded in 2020, our work is rooted in a deep connection to Ethiopia and has grown into a broader mission to serve communities worldwide. From the beginning, our focus has been simple: create meaningful, lasting impact through sustainable water solutions.
WIHA, named after the Amharic word for water, reflects our core purpose. We believe water is more than a basic need—it is the foundation for health, education, hygiene, gender equality, and economic opportunity. When communities have access to clean water, everything changes.
Our approach is practical and community-focused. We work closely with local partners to design and implement solutions that are not only effective today, but sustainable for the future. Ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and maintenance are central to how we operate. We are built on collaboration, and guided by transparency, integrity, and accountability in everything we do.
