WIHA, a nonprofit organization with a heartfelt mission, was established amidst the global pandemic of 2020 by a group of compassionate individuals. United by a common passion, our founders are driven to alleviate the water crisis, starting in Ethiopia. With a deep personal connection to Ankober, Ethiopia, where our inaugural project is underway, we feel a profound sense of responsibility to improve the lives of our brothers and sisters in Ethiopia and beyond.
Derived from the Amharic word for water, WIHA embodies our organization's purpose: to bring safe and clean drinking water to underprivileged families through the implementation of sustainable water projects.
